During setup, you choose between the Free tier or starting a 14-day free trial of Pro. Choosing Free still asks for location access, for mileage tracking, but skips the Accessibility Service permission, so you can get straight into mileage, income, and expense tracking. Choosing the trial also asks for Android's Accessibility Service permission. On Android 11 and newer that is all live offer scoring needs: DriveLens uses it to take a screenshot of your Uber or Lyft driver app while a shift is running and read the offer on your phone, so there is no screen sharing prompt to accept and nothing to turn back on after your screen sleeps. It works for Uber and Lyft together. It also reads the day's earnings total shown on your driver app's home screen to keep your pace accurate. On Android 8 to 10, Android asks you to share your screen at the start of each shift instead. The Accessibility Service never taps or controls anything, can't see passwords, and each screenshot is read on your device and thrown away. The optional overlay permission lets the grade appear on top of your driver app. All of this is processed and stored locally on your device.

DriveLens currently supports Uber and Lyft. Uber Eats and Uber Connect/Package support is still in development. iOS is also in development.

Most of what DriveLens does (offer scoring, OCR, GPS traces, your heatmap) happens entirely on your device and never leaves it.
